In collaboration with The City of Mountain View, MOMENT launches its latest local retail project, MOMENT Mountain View in Downtown Mountain View, featuring four new creative small businesses within a single collaborative retail storefront footprint on Castro Street.

MOMENT Mountain View currently features an Asian-owned creative collective named Don’t Eat Me!—created and ran by Art by Julia, Notebeans Stationery, Derptiles, and Karepango. These Bay Area-native and based artists, illustrators, and designers blend their brands to provide an assortment of art, stationery, clothing, and accessories. Together, they unite to craft a specialized retail experience infused with vibrant artistry and individual charm.

We recommend parking at City Parking Lot 5 (230 Hope St), which has free 2-hour parking just a 3-minute walk from the storefront. 2-hour limit enforced weekdays, 8 AM to 5 PM. Please refer to posted signage on-site for most up-to-date time limits and rates.

By Public Transit:

About MOMENT Mountain View

A City of Mountain View economic development initiative, the MOMENT Mountain View Pop-Up Program, significantly lowers the barrier of entry for local creative small businesses to have their retail storefront in downtown Mountain View by providing affordable percentage-based rent terms, space improvement grants, and significant marketing support through MOMENT and its sister company, San José Made.

Managed by MOMENT, MOMENT Mountain View is the first MOMENT program outside of the MOMENT Downtown San José Program, which includes pop-up stores at the award-winningSan Pedro Square (four businesses opened in 2018), Paseo de San Antonio (four businesses opened in May 2024), Post Street (six businesses opened in August 2024), and MOMENT’s four-in-one concept store in San José Japantown (opened in 2022).
